A Székeskáptalani Levéltár (archivum capitulare) történeti értékében leggazdagabb levéltára az ún. Magánlevéltár (archivum privatum). Folytatólagosan csak a 17. század végétől kezdve tartalmaz iratokat, de korábbi időszakból is vannak anyagok. Az e-archivumban az 1574 előtti oklevelek és 1729-ből egyházlátogatási jegyzőkönyvek érhetők el, az iratanyag többi része csak a levéltárban hozzáférhető. Az iratanyaghoz tartozó segédletek (PEL II.1.b.) viszont mind kutathatók online.
