A második világháború idején igyekeztek a püspökségen megmenteni a plébánia értékeit - a második szovjet invenzióig viszonylagos sikerrel, amikor sok elpusztult belőle. Az iratanyag többsége visszakerült, de 3 kötet a levéltárban maradt.
