1942 előtt Marosvásárhely filiája volt, majd a helyi lelkészséggé, 1981-től pedig plébániává váló Nyárádtő leányegyháza lett. 1973-tól kápolnáját magánházban alakították ki, melyet 1987-ben váltott fel templom.
