Biographical history

Kovács Kálmán (Kolozsvár, 1883 - Budapest, 1951.11.19.) tanár, tanügyi főtanácsos. Apja János, anyja Kriza Lenke volt. Tanulmányait Kolozsvárott végezte, 1918 végéig ott is tanított. 1915-től egyházi főszámvevő, 1918-ban egyházi titkár volt. 1934-ben Mócsra települt. Budapesten előbb a Széchenyi István, majd a Magyar Új Iskola Egylet leánygimnáziumának volt igazgatója. Több újság tudósítójaként működött. Az egyháznak főgondnoka, a Teológiának vizsgálóbiztosa volt. 68 éves korában Budapesten villamosbaleset következtében elhunyt
