Biographical history

Berde Mózes (Szentivánlaborfalva 1815. december 15. - Budapest 1893 szeptember 22.) ügyvéd, miniszteri osztálytanácsos, 1848-ban országgyűlési képviselő, erdélyi kormánybiztos volt. A szabadságharc leverése után,1852-ben kötél általi halálra ítélik, de kegyelemként 4 évet tölt a josefstadti várbörtönben. Szabadulása után saját birtokán gazdálkodott majd gróf Bethlen Kamilló jószágigazgatója volt. 1867-től 1872-ig belügyminiszteri tanácsosként erdélyi ügyekkel foglalkozott. Örökösül az egyházat tette meg. Névváltozat: Berde Mózsa.
