Administrative history

Alcsút Vértesacsa filiális települése volt 1788-ig, majd Felcsúthoz tartozott.
Lelkészségét 1945-ben szervezték meg, plébánia-rangra 1950-ben emelték.
Istentiszteleti helye 1880-tól a fõhercegi kastély kápolnája volt, temploma csak 1907-ben épült.
Alcsút polgári községet 1950-ben közigazgatásilag egyesítették Vértesdobozzal, 1957-ben az egyházigazgatás is megtette a lépést. (Vértesdoboz addig Tabajd filiája volt.)
